We would like to thank you so much for the preschool scholarship awarded to our son Kalen. He loves his classes and his teachers so much that he gets so excited to go to school every day. It is so wonderful to see the kindness and generosity of the people of Johnstown. Thanks to the local businesses, our kids have the opportunity to receive an exceptional education. We truly are grateful to The Learning Lamp for their help. I hope someday we can return the favor and help future students receive a good education that they can’t afford.

The Learning Lamp is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing the support students need to succeed in school. We work in partnership with parents, schools and community-based organizations to provide academic support that makes a measurable difference in student achievement and is affordable and accessible to children of all abilities and income levels.
