The Learning Lamp offers all services on a mobile basis to school districts across western Pennsylvania. The Learning Lamp is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency whose mission is to help all children access high-quality, content-driven tutoring regardless of income or ability to pay for services. The Learning Lamp is a Pennsylvania Department of Education-approved ClassroomPlus, Educational Assistance Program and Supplemental Education Services provider. We also have experience with the Education Mentoring Grant offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Our goal is to work with your staff to build out-of-school time programs that meet the needs of your students. The Learning Lamp’s tutoring sessions are developed by a team including your teachers and our education director, a master’s level educator with a background in curriculum development and implementation. Programs can be small group tutoring sessions, with students grouped by skill set or hybrid tutoring sessions using research-based tutoring webware that offers comprehensive reporting data and individual learning pathways.
