The Learning Lamp Homebound Instruction

The Learning Lamp offers Homebound Instruction for school districts. All of our instructors are PA certified teachers who work in partnership with your teachers to provide high-quality lessons for students who are unable to attend school.

How our program can benefit your district:

• No wasted time locating qualified instructors
• No wasted time supervising extra employees
• No payroll hassles
• Reasonable rate of $25 per hour
• Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of your district’s students and parents

All instructors have current Act 33 and 34 clearances and are closely supervised by a master’s level certified teacher with experience in homebound instruction. Learning Lamp homebound instructors will:

• Follow your school district curriculum
• Maintain contact with classroom teachers
• Provide weekly progress reports
• Act as a liaison between school and home
• Be on-time, prepared, committed and courteous
