Child Care

Child Care

Leaving a child to go to work shouldn't leave a parent riddled with guilt. The Learning Lamp Center for Children, now with four locations – our flagship at the Greater Johnstown Career & Technology Center (GJCTC) and additional sites at Memorial Medical Center, Westmont, Jennerstown and Somerset – were designed by working moms to meet the needs of today's busy families.

Our highly qualified staffs enjoy working with children and will offer your child the love and attention he or she needs to make the transition from home to child care.

Our centers will not only help your child grow socially and emotionally, but academically. All of our centrally-located sites include a literacy-based preschool for children ages 3 and 4 at no additional cost, plus before and after school care and a summer program that incorporates exciting, hands-on activities.

The Learning Lamp Centers for Children are built to standards set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS quality child care initiative. The centers are open beginning at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. For additional information on each location click here.
