I would like to thank you for your generous scholarship for tutoring sessions for my daughter Marie. I have tried many different tutoring programs throughout Marie’s school years, but none has worked like The Learning Lamp. She was tutored in math this past summer and the first couple of weeks of the school year. She went from a “D” last year to an “A” this first nine weeks. It has been amazing. Her confidence has grown. If she doesn’t understand a problem, she now sits and figures it out instead of giving up or asking for help. Thank you.

One-to-one and Small Group Tutoring
One-to-one and small group tutoring for students who are experiencing difficulty in school can be conducted at our learning center or another convenient location. Tutoring fees are based on each family’s financial means.
Families who do not qualify for financial assistance can choose to pay by the session or purchase a group of sessions at a reduced cost.
Our approach is to work with schools and teachers, using teacher input, current classroom work, homework assignments and report card grades as our guide. We believe students benefit most when supplemental instruction reinforces lessons taught during the school day. Services are currently available in Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Blair, Indiana and Westmoreland Counties.
The completed enrollment form may be mailed, faxed or emailed to The Learning Lamp. If requesting a scholarship, please be sure to include the School Lunch Verification Form, signed by your child’s school.

A student will be matched with a tutor as soon as the enrollment request is received by our tutor coordinator. In most cases, a student will be matched with a tutor within a week.
