Summer Camps

What do you have planned for your kids this summer?  At The Learning Lamp, we offer 12 weeks of fabulous summer programs for preschoolers and school-age children and a live performing arts experience geared to older kids.  Our 2016 Summer Camps are enrolling now!


Preschool Summer Camps

These part-day sessions for 3, 4 and 5-year-olds are designed and taught by teachers certified in early childhood education.

School-Age Summer Camps

Our summer camps for students entering grades 1-5 are all about hands-on learning and lots of fun – and they fill up quickly.

Summer Performing Arts Camp

The Learning Lamp’s 2017 summer performing arts camp culminates in two live performances of a well-known musical. It’s perfect for students entering grades 6-12 with an interest in theater, stage production or the arts.


The Learning Lamp’s 2016 free summer camps for children in Johnstown’s Moxham, Prospect and Oakhurst neighborhoods two-weeks of STEAM-based activities and a field trip to Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh. The camps are an extension of The Learning Lamp After School Outreach Program and are open to children in grades K through 8.

2016 free summer camps are made possible through generous grants from Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, Lockheed Martin Foundation and Jacob Fend Foundation. Thank you!
