Johnstown, PA (December 1, 2016) – The Learning Lamp – a leading provider of early education, child care services and before and after school programs – currently has openings for enthusiastic, energetic, creative, loving and caring individuals to assist with managing the overall operation of its programs in Somerset county. To streamline the recruitment process The Learning Lamp will host a job fair on Thursday, December 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Learning Lamp’s Jennerstown Child Care Center at 131 Schoolhouse Road in Jennerstown.

“We are hosting the job fair at our Jennerstown Child Care Center so job seekers have a chance to meet with their potential supervisors to learn about the positions and be interviewed on the spot,” explained Kayla Cobaugh, director of human resources at The Learning Lamp. “We will be filling positions in many programs throughout Somerset County. It’s a great way for new teachers and support staff to get their foot in the door at a growing company.”

The Learning Lamp offers meaningful work for people with a variety of education levels and skill sets. Some positions also offer a lot of flexibility in scheduling. Available jobs include: director of before and after school program at North Star Elementary, supervisors and staff for before and after school program at North Star Elementary and supervisors and staff for child care center in Jennerstown.
