Johnstown, PA (June 25, 2014) –It’s a tale as old as time: boy meets plant, plant develops taste for human flesh, boy must kill plant to save the girl he loves. See it in action as Richland Performing Arts Academy performs the comedy-musical, Little Shop of Horrors this weekend.The performance comes after students spent two weeks learning lines, stage design, set up, choreography and vocal lessons, and rehearsals. Tickets are available online at richlandpac.com for $10 regular admission and $9 for students/seniors. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office.

The Richland Performing Arts Academy is a joint effort of The Learning Lamp and Richland Performing Arts Center. Now in its seventh year, it has provided hundreds of 6th through 12th graders with the opportunity to build a broadway musical from scratch in just two weeks.
