I'd just like to pass along the success of your program and the results that my son obtained through taking your recent SAT reading class on Saturday mornings.  His original SAT score in reading was 270 and 410 in writing.  After taking your SAT prep class in September, his new and improved scores are reading 460 and writing 490.  I am so excited and thankful for your program. He has always struggled with reading and this class really helped him become more confident in applying for college.  Thank you again!

Homebound Instruction

Health or family issues sometimes prevent students from attending school.  Homebound instruction allows students to continue working toward graduation while attending to personal issues.  At The Learning Lamp, we work with districts to provide instruction for homebound students on an as-needed basis.

Our services are flexible and affordable.  The Learning Lamp’s education director works with your administrative team to gather text books and map out goals for each student.  Districts fund the services at a flat rate of $26 per instructional hour.

Homebound instruction can take place at our learning center, a local library or community center or in the student’s home, as long as the environment is appropriate for learning.

We offer homebound teachers in every content area including special education, ESL and secondary-level core subject areas.  All teachers are PA certified with current clearances.  The Learning Lamp’s homebound instruction services are closely monitored by our education director, who updates each student’s home school on a regular basis.

Services are available across Pennsylvania.  To learn more about homebound instruction through The Learning Lamp, call (814) 262-0732 or 1-866-785-LAMP (5267).
