Kids’ Day Out

Kids are off, but you’re at work?  Scheduled days off from school can be hard when there’s no one to watch the children. That’s why we offer a Kids’ Day Out program.

ForFamilies_KidsDayOutActivities on School Holidays and Days Off

Kids’ Day Out provides a full day of exciting activities for children in grades K-6. Available days include:

  • Holidays, such as Veterans’ Day and Presidents’ Day
  • Teacher in-service days
  • Winter vacation and Easter break
  • Days when school is cancelled due to bad weather

Convenient Locations

Dates are based on area school districts’ calendars. Programs are open to children in any school district and are currently held in nearby communities. Check your child’s school district below to view dates and locations.

Contact us at 814-262-0732 x243 for more information or to register your child.

  • We're only two weeks away from #givingtuesday! Meet Tajaiha - a bubbly six year old. Her attitude toward school, learning nand homework is far different this year than it was last fall, when she started coming to The Learning Lamp's free After School Program. That change was made possible through the generosity of people like you! #thelearninglamp
