Come join us as we READ, ROCK & ROLL at the 9th Annual Children’s Book Festival of Johnstown! The FREE festival kicks off Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at BOTTLE WORKS in Johnstown with award-winning authors and illustrators, including Newberry Honor Award winner and New York Times bestselling author Victoria Jamieson, 2017 Golden Kite winner for picture book illustration Stacy Innerst, and 2017 PA One Book Author/Illustrator Micha Archer.
Other activities include face painting, author book signings, storytelling, rock and roll pet show, live entertainment and more! The festival also features huge new and used book sales, a bookmark design contest and hands-on arts and crafts. Plus, every child receives a FREE book from The Learning Lamp and First Book.
