Come join us as we get excited about reading at the 10th Annual Children’s Book Festival of Johnstown! The FREE festival kicks off Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at BOTTLE WORKS in Johnstown with award-winning authors and illustrators, including New York Times bestselling author Laura Numeroff, former Children’s Poet Laureate (2013-15) Kenn Nesbitt, children’s author Mark Weakland, and cartoonist/illustrator Joe Wos.
Other activities include face painting, author book signings, storytelling, family-friendly entertainment – including the Rock N Roll Pet Store and more! The festival also features new and used book sales, a bookmark design contest and hands-on arts and crafts. Plus, every child receives a FREE book from The Learning Lamp and First Book.
