Flexible scheduling, meaningful work and opportunities for advancement are three big reasons to attend our upcoming hiring event on Wednesday, February 13, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our main office at 2025 Bedford Street in Johnstown. The event gives serious job seekers a chance to get hired on the spot, as well as explore a wide range of employment options in the field of education in Cambria and Somerset counties.

“We encourage job hunters to meet their potential supervisors, learn about available positions, career pathways, and be interviewed on the spot,” said Kayla Cobaugh, director of human resources at The Learning Lamp. “Working here gives you the chance to have a positive impact on children, and your own life too. We offer flexible scheduling, no weekend or holiday work, and the ability to learn, grow and advance with the organization. Applicants can work a set schedule or only on a casual, part-time basis.”

The Learning Lamp is a leading provider of early education, child care, and before and after school programs. Ignite Education Solutions is a division of The Learning Lamp that is dedicated to serving schools and helping children reach their full potential in the classroom. Both offer a number of positions for a variety of education levels and skill sets. Available jobs include: substitute teachers, before and after school staff, early learning staff, classroom and personal care aides, and tutors in all subject areas.
