The 2017 Performing Arts Academy Invites You to Be Their Guest
Posted on June 22, 2017Johnstown, PA (June 21, 2017) – The 2017 Performing Arts Academy invites you to be their guest as the academy celebrate its 10th anniversary with performances of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr. on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24 at 7 p.m. at the Richland Performing Arts Center located inside the Richland High School at 1 Academic Ave. in Johnstown.
Again this year, The Learning Lamp has partnered with the Richland Performing Arts Center to offer the performing arts camp to students in grades 6 through 12. The two-week program is a fast-paced environment where students learn the ins and outs of theater production as they audition, rehearse, build sets and finally perform for an audience. The participants have been hard at work, and their perseverance will pay off this weekend when they take the stage in what promises to be a fantastic performance filled with song, choreographed dance numbers, humor and the characters that we all love.
Tickets are still available to this “tale as old at time,” where Belle and the Beast discover there is more to love than meets the eye. Ticket prices are $5 for gold members, $8 for students and senior citizens aged 62 and older, and $10 for general admission. To purchase tickets, visit richlandpac.com/beauty–the-beast-jr.
