The job fair is designed to help job seekers locate good jobs, change careers, or explore employment options in the field of education across Cambria and Somerset counties.

“Candidates with the desire to make a difference in the lives of children don’t want to miss this opportunity to meet with their potential supervisors face-to-face, learn about the positions available, and be interviewed on the spot,” said Kayla Cobaugh, director of human resources at The Learning Lamp. “We will be filling positions in many programs throughout Cambria and Somerset counties for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. It’s a great way for new teachers and support staff to get their foot in the door at a growing company.”

The Learning Lamp is a leading provider of early education, child care services and before and after school programs. Multiple full- and part-time positions are available; some also offer a lot of flexibility in scheduling. Applicants interested in any of the following positions are encouraged to attend: mobile early learning staff member to serve multiple locations, staff for before and after school and child care programs; tutors in all subject areas; substitute teachers; special education teachers; school psychologist, licensed social workers; speech therapist; substitute registered nurses; teacher aides and personal care aides; and custodians.
