“The Children’s Consignment Sale gives parents an opportunity to clean out their kids’ closets and cash in on the stuff they no longer use or need. By adding the Mom’s Helper Service, we hoping to help out busy parents that don’t have the time to get their items ready on their own,” said Kerri IMG_20170919_133229888Belardi, director of communications at The Learning Lamp. “Registration is now open and we are gearing up for a fantastic sale, with dozens of consignors already signed up and ready to participate.”

The sale accepts gently used kid’s apparel, shoes, toys, furniture, baby equipment, Easter outfits, swimwear and much more! Consignors earn 50 percent of the sale price of their items, and Mom’s Helper Service consignors earn 40 percent, with the remaining amount going to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Programs in Moxham, Oakhurst and Coopersdale. This program provides students with a quality after school program where they receive homework help, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.

The deadline to consign is Monday, March 5, 2018. Registering before midnight on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 qualifies consignors for an early bird discount and waives the $5 registration fee.
