Cash in on Your Kid Clutter at Spring Consignment Sale

Posted on February 8, 2016

Johnstown, PA (Feb. 8, 2016) – Is your house being overrun with toys your child no longer plays with, or clothes they no longer wear? Register to consign at The Learning Lamp and EcoKids’ Spring Children’s Consignment Sale on March 3, 4 and 5, 2016, and you can earn extra cash and clean out your kid clutter at the same time! Best of all, your participation supports free after school programs for local kids!

“The Children’s Consignment Sale gives parents an opportunity to clean out their kids’ closets and cash in on the stuff they no longer use or need,” said Ingrid Kloss, Development Director at The Learning Lamp. “Registration is now open and we are gearing up for a great sale, with dozens of consignors already signed up to participate.”

The sale accepts gently used kid’s apparel, shoes, toys, furniture, baby equipment, Easter outfits, swimwear and much more! Consignors earn 50 percent of the sale price of their items, with the remaining amount going to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Programs in Moxham, Oakhurst, Prospect and Coopersdale. This program provides students with a stable after school setting where they receive homework help from a certified teacher, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.

The deadline to consign is Monday, February 22, 2016. Registering before midnight on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 qualifies consignors for an early bird discount and waives the $5 registration fee.

The sale will be held at The Learning Lamp’s main offices at 2025 Bedford Street in Johnstown.
