Earn Cash at the EcoKids Children’s Consignment Sale!

Posted on February 13, 2020

Johnstown, PA (Feb. 7, 2020) – Let’s face it– kids grow FAST! If shopping for your children is running your wallet dry, why not fill it up by earning extra cash while clearing out the clothes and toys that your kids don’t use anymore. Register today to consign at the semi-annual EcoKids Children’s Consignment Sale on April 30, May 1 and 2, 2020. Please note our new location for the sale—The Galleria at 500 Galleria Drive in Johnstown. The sale will be located on the lower level beside the former BonTon store.

Want to consign, but don’t have the time? The Mom’s Helper Service can help! With a small supply and service fee of $30 we will take care of everything for you – including entering your items, pricing, tagging and hanging all your items. A limited number of Mom’s Helper Service spots are available for each sale.

“The sale gives parents an opportunity to clean out and cash in on the stuff they no longer use or need. Putting in a little time and effort to prep items can result in a big return,” said Kerri Belardi, director of communications at The Learning Lamp. “Registration is now open and we are gearing up for another terrific sale.”

This semi-annual specialty consignment sale accepts only high quality, gently used seasonally appropriate children’s and junior apparel, shoes, books, toys, furniture, baby equipment, outerwear, holiday outfits, swimwear and more! Consignors can earn up to 60 percent of the sale price of their items. In previous sales, consignors took home up to $1,500 in profits. The remaining amount goes to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Program in Moxham, Oakhurst and Coopersdale. This program provides students with a quality after school program where they receive homework help, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.

Consignors must register by Monday, April 20, 2020. To learn more about the registration process, please visit http://www.thelearninglamp.org/for-families/childrens-consignment-sale/. If you have any questions, call Deb at 814-262-0732 extension 242 or email sale@thelearninglamp.org.
