EcoKids’ Children’s Consignment Fall Sale!

Posted on July 10, 2018

Johnstown, PA (July 10, 2018) – Let’s face it, kids grow FAST! Before you know it, they have toys they no longer play with or clothes that no longer fit. Don’t let those items take over your house, not when you can earn extra cash and clean out your kid clutter at the same time by consigning at the EcoKids’s Children’s Consignment Fall Sale on September 20, 21 and 22, 2018. The sale takes place at The Learning Lamp, 2025 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA. This is a well-attended sale with space for a limited number of consignors. Consignors earn 50% of the sale of their items. Remaining proceeds support free after school programs for local kids.

Want to consign, but don’t have the time? The Mom’s Helper Service can help! With a low supply and service fee of $25, we’ll enter, price and tag all your items for you. A limited number of Mom’s Helper Service spots are available.

“The Children’s Consignment Sale gives parents an opportunity to clean out their kids’ closets and cash in on the stuff they no longer use or need. The Mom’s Helper Service is available again this sale to help out busy parents that don’t have the time to get their items ready on their own,” said Kerri Belardi, director of communications at The Learning Lamp. “With each sale we seem to grow, and this is a service we can provide to busy parents and caregivers so they can participate, too.”

The sale accepts gently used kid’s apparel, boots and shoes, toys, furniture, baby equipment, outerwear, holiday wear, Halloween costumes, room décor, accessories and much more! Consignors earn 50 percent of the sale price of their items, and Mom’s Helper Service consignors earn 40 percent, with the remaining amount going to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Programs in Moxham, Oakhurst and Coopersdale. This program provides students with a quality after school program where they receive homework help, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.

The deadline to consign is Monday, September 10, 2018. Registering before midnight on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 qualifies consignors for an early bird discount and waives the $5 registration fee. The deadline to register for the Mom’s Helper Service is Monday, August 6, 2018.
