Fishertown, PA (July 18, 2017) –Ignite Education Solutions currently has openings for enthusiastic and caring individuals to work in the school setting in locations across Bedford County. Applicants may interview on-site at Ignite Education Solutions’recruitment event on Wednesday, July 26 from noon to 2 p.m. in the library of Chestnut Ridge Middle School, 3281 Valley Road, Fishertown, PA 15539.
“Job seekers who want to make a difference in the lives of children don’t want to miss this opportunity to meet with their potential supervisors face-to-face, learn about the positions available, and be interviewed on the spot,” said Kayla Cobaugh, director of human resources at The Learning Lamp and Ignite Education Solutions. “We will be filling positions in many programs in Chestnut Ridge School District and other areas of Bedford County for the upcoming school year. It’s a great way for new teachers and support staff to get their foot in the door at a growing company and begin building a career in education.”
Certified teachers are needed to fill substitute teaching positions. Ignite Education Solutions is also looking for individuals who hold a four-year degree in any subject to become emergency certified to work as substitute teachers. Those without a four-year degree are welcome to apply for classroom support positions.
“What people don’t realize is if you hold a bachelor’s degree and enjoy working with children, you can become emergency certified to be a substitute teacher and work as much or as little as you’d like in schools throughout our area,” explained Jona Duppstadt, director of educational programs at Ignite Education Solutions, a division of The Learning Lamp exclusively devoted to serving schools. “We are helping Pennsylvania school districts battle the shortage of certified individuals to employ as day-to-day substitutes in all classrooms.”
