Johnstown, PA (September 13, 2017) – Having a hard time finding your children fall and winter clothing or toys at a decent price? Be sure to stop in and check out the semi-annual EcoKids’ Children’s Consignment Sale. This three-day pop-up shopping event is held at The Learning Lamp’s main office at 2025 Bedford Street in Johnstown on September 21, 22 and 23, 2017. Sale hours are Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
When buying clothes and equipment for babies and children, most shoppers are looking for big discounts. The pop-up EcoKids’ Children’s Consignment Sale offers discounts of 50 to 90 percent off of retail price, and tax-free shopping. Plus, Saturday all items remaining at the sale are discounted 50 percent off the tagged price, offering an even bigger savings to savvy shoppers.
“We have a record number of consignors signed up to participate in the fall sale who will be offering a varied assortment of fantastic items.” said Kerri Belardi, Director of Communications at The Learning Lamp. “It’s great to offer our shoppers the opportunity to score some amazing deals for their growing kids.”
The sale will offer gently used kid’s apparel (fall and winter items only), outerwear, boots, shoes, toys, furniture, baby equipment, Halloween costumes, holiday outfits and much more! Be sure to shop early for high demand items like strollers, high chairs, activity centers, Pack ‘n Plays, safety gates and bouncers.
Consignors earn 50 to 60 percent of the sale price of their items, with the remaining amount going to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Program in Moxham, Oakhurst and Coopersdale. This program provides students with a stable after school setting where they receive homework help, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.
Because the EcoKids’ Children’s Consignment Sale is a pop-up, three day-only event, bargains are “first come, first served.” Be sure to mark your calendar, stop in while merchandise lasts and support a great cause at the same time!
